Do you feel the need to write a review for your personal reads, as opposed to requested reviews, or are there some books you read just for the joy of reading?
The majority of books I read are ones that I have bought myself and I read them for the joy of reading. I always write a review for them as this reminds me what happened in the book when I read the next one in the series. I also like to read other peoples reviews about books before I buy them so I can hopefully miss the ones that aren't so good. So I write reviews for this reason also to encourage people to read the good books and stay away from the not so good books.

Hahah, I'm the same way, I tend to forget a lot! >.< So I love being able to write reviews about books I love, and even the books I don't. Gives others a chance to steer clear of such material. lol.

I pretty much rely on other peoples reviews of books that I think about buying, I don't want to spend my money on a dud when I can avoid it!
ReplyDeleteIt's such a great way to refresh your memory isn't it? I'm always amazed at the things that will slip my memory over time but always makes rereads kinds fun :)
