Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley

Motorcycle Man is the fourth and last book in the Dream Man series by Kristen Ashley.  Here is the blurb.

Stuck in a colourless world, Tyra Masters decides to chuck her old life and starts searching for something. She doesn’t know what it is until she meets her dream man. The goateed, tattooed, muscled, gravelly voiced motorcycle man who plies her with tequila and gives her the best sex of her life. But she knows it isn’t the tequila and sex talking. He’s it. He’s who she’s been daydreaming about since she could remember.

Until he makes it clear she isn’t who he’s looking for.

Tyra slinks away from his bed, humiliated. The problem is, he’s her new boss. She just may or may not have forgotten to tell him that part.

Kane “Tack” Allen has a rule. He doesn’t employ someone he’s slept with. And he lets Tyra know that in his motorcycle man way. Tyra fights for her job and wins it using sass and a technicality. Tack challenges her that if she hits his bed one more time, she loses her job.

Tyra is determined to keep her job and keep away from Tack. But she makes a big mistake. During their head-to-heads, she lets it all hang out and shows Tack she is who he’s looking for. And Tack has had a good woman slip through his fingers, he’s not about to let that happen again.

Although Tack colors Tyra’s world with a vibrancy that’s blinding, being with him means she has to live in his Motorcycle Club world. Full on, no holds barred. And since Tack’s world, not to mention Tack, is a little scary, Tyra isn’t so sure.

It's Tack's job to convince her.

Oh how I love a Kristen Ashley book and this was no exception.  I was really looking forward to reading about Tack, he had briefly appeared in the previous Dream Man books and what I had read had me really intrigued to read his story.  I always like the male characters more in a KA book than I do the female characters.  I don’t feel as though I have really connected with one of her heroines before as much as I did with Tyra Masters.  Tyra knows what she wants, she doesn’t have any to stupid to live moments and she doesn’t run away or act silly with Tack, I loved her.

As all of KA’s heroes Tack is an uber alpha and once he has his sights set on Tyra he won’t take no for an answer so Tyra has to learn to live life as part of a Motorcycle Club where the rules are different and life is quite sexist.  I have to admit there was one part of this story that I couldn’t stop thinking about and that was Tack’s bedroom at the compound.  In earlier books the KA heroines had described it as messy and dirty however Tyra didn’t seem to have any issues with getting dirty with Tack but all I could think about was how those sheets have not been washed…ewwww.

Once again another outstanding book by Ms Ashley the ending was excellent.   I would have preferred more time to have been given to the ending whilst other parts of the book could have been made shorter and that is why I am going to give Motorcycle Man 4 stars.  The ending did however set us up for a spin off series featuring Tack’s daughter Tab and one of his Motorcycle Club brothers and I will definitely be reading that book.  Fans of Kristen Ashley books will not be disappointed with this book and if you have not read her work before I implore you to try it.
