Review
Truth picks up a year after Consequences finishes with Claire Nichols being given a pardon and released from jail. It all comes as a shock to Claire as she has no idea who has filed for her pardon.  Could it be Tony?  Having no one else to turn to Claire contacts a new friend that she has made whilst incarcerated and moves to Palo Alto in California to stay with her.  Trying to start a new life and seek some kind of revenge on Tony Claire has no wishes to ever see him ever again.  But then Claire should remember you cannot escape Mr Rawlings that easy and he has no intention of letting Claire go.

OMG where do I start with this review? Well the book is brain meltingly awesome, I finished it yesterday but my mind is still whirling with events that occurred, especially the last part of the book.  How am I going to survive until Convicted comes out?  No seriously how am I going to get through a year without knowing what happens next?  There are so many ups and downs and intrigue and betrayal that it will leave your head spinning.  We get to know more about Tony and understand how he is the way he is with flashbacks to his earlier life.  We also have snippets about Sophia Burke and her role in this story.  But the story remains about Tony and Claire.

We see a turn around with the characters in Truth.  Claire has changed quite a bit.  I thought she was a strong woman in the first book doing what she had to do to in order to survive but in this book she gets more of a back bone.  Has Tony changed, can he change?  Well he still scares the hell out of me but I will say that Truth offers us some hope that Consequences did not and that I have really fallen in love with him but then again I always do like bad boys.

There is so much I want to say but can’t as I don’t want to spoil it for you.  There were a couple of niggles for me in that I wanted more answers than I got but even those niggles can’t detract from how much I enjoyed reading Truth.  This series is fantastic.  It is dark and a psychological thriller so may not be for everyone but I love it and I’m going to give it 5 stars.  Well done Ms Romig!

For fans of Tony out there I have some exciting news.  It is still very hush hush at the moment but keep your eyes peeled as he is going to be visiting me here with Aleatha soon.  Yes I am hopefully interviewing Mr Anthony Rawlings *swoon*.

Update - The interview with Anthony Rawlings is up click here to be taken to it.  Come and see how Anthony reacts to my questions.

  3. Tony IMO you love Claire. How did it feel to watch her be thrown in jail for a crime she didn't commit?

Why was Claire originally picked for the Consequence and not Emily?

  4. I want to ask Tony why he waited this long to kidnap Claire? Why the wait? Why not making her his slave before she even had a social life or love interests?

  5. What would Tony have done if Claire said she wanted to go home when he proposed?

What was Tony thinking when he found out that Claire had been with Harry?
